Government, School & Military Special Applications of Custom Built Sheds and Storage Solutions

Quality Sheds are Perfect for Government Applications
Quality Sheds has been helping our government customers solve their unique space and storage needs for over nineteen years.  Quality Sheds is the premiere custom shed manufacturer in Southern California and we count many government clients among our valued customers.

Schools Love Quality Sheds
Quality Sheds has decades of experience building custom storage solutions for schools and school districts.  Our sheds and garages are always constructed on site and we are experts at designing the perfect building to meet your needs.  Quality Sheds are being used by schools to store gym and recess equipment, as well as classroom and custodial supplies and tools.  Some of our relocatable sheds are even being used to store furniture and equipment during school reconstruction projects.

We Build Custom Storage for Cities and Counties
Quality Sheds has worked with many cities and counties to provide on-site professional assistance in planning, designing and constructing buildings for special purposes.  Our buildings are being used by cities and counties for storage sheds, mini-offices and workshops.  Our buildings are made with top quality materials such as our pressure treated 4” x 6” sub structure with 2” x 4” floor joists that are spaced 12 inches on center.   We also use a 2” x 6” roof truss system, the best design in the industry.  Quality Sheds are heavy duty structures so our government customers know they are making a sound investment with our products.  A recent installation was for a city that had a number of parks with wells and pumps. The city sought to protect the plumbing so Quality Sheds visited each park site and designed a custom structure to protect the plumbing and equipment from exposure and vandalism.

Quality Sheds is at the Service of Our Military
Quality Sheds is a proud supporter of our military and we are excited to have completed a variety of structures for our men and women in uniform.  Since a military base is like a self-contained city, there are endless uses for a Quality Shed on base.  Our customers sometimes need a shed for a compact space that the “boxed” sheds simply fit into.  Quality Sheds designs are always customized and we can build a shed to meet any challenge.  A recent installation on a military base was for the Marine Corps at their rifle range which is featured in our case study.

Quality Comes First in Our Name and is First in Our Work
Our sheds are built to last and we never skimp on quality.  We provide a 10 year warranty on our sheds and 30 years on our siding.  Our government clients appreciate the flexible design and the quality workmanship of our buildings.  That’s why when government agencies need durable, attractive and weather proof storage space, they make Quality Sheds their first call.

Case Study Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base Shooting Range Sheds

Quality Sheds is always proud to complete a job for our military.  The pictures above and below show one of four custom sheds that we built for the Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton just north of San Diego, California.

We constructed these sheds for use at the rifle ranges.  The Marine Corps staff had specific requirements for the shed design and locations.  The sheds are used as work stations for their range masters so the design had to provide excellent visibility and adequate work space.  The sheds also housed the range communications equipment and provided storage.

Some of the supplies needed for the range are made available to the soldiers via the small shed doors, one of which is shown in the picture under the left window.  Rather than have the soldiers going in and out of the structure, we designed these doors – three per building – with an interior box.  This way the supplies can be accessed externally.  Inside, the storage boxes are topped with an L-shaped desk top that provides adequate work space for the officers in charge of the various ranges.

Another feature we added to the buildings is a set of hooks where the soldiers can safely hang their rifles while they receive instruction.  Additionally, these structures are constructed to withstand relocation so if the needs of the Marines changes, the structure can be safely moved to a new location on base.
